General Information
District Assembly and NMI Convention will be held at Hemet Church of the Nazarene, 42655 East Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA.
The NMI Convention will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2nd and conclude at approximately 3:30 p.m.
District Assembly will open on Wednesday, June 2nd at 7:00 p.m. Business sessions will be held on Thursday, June 3rd at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The District Assembly will conclude on Thursday with a Celebration of Ministry and Ordination Service at 7:00 p.m. Pastors’ Reports will be given in zone gatherings late morning on Thursday.
Childcare
Childcare will be available for children through age 4 during the business sessions on Wednesday and Thursday and also during the evening services. This year, there will be a $5.00 charge per child/per hour (payment may be made at the time of service).
A separate form is enclosed to reserve space for childcare. We must have reservations in advancein order to provide adequate space and workers. Please indicate how many children will need childcare from your church, and return it to Hemet Church of the Nazarene, 42655 East Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA 92544, attention Lindsay Jorgensen, by May 28th. Meals
There are a number of restaurants to choose from in Hemet. A list of nearby restaurants will be provided at assembly. Menifee Church will be providing lunches again this year on both days, for a cost of $5.00 per person. If you wish to pre-order lunches for your delegation, please email Pastor Rob Altice to make reservations at menifeenaz@hotmail.com. If you do not have email, you may call 951-672-2494 to order your tickets. Lunches must be pre-ordered. There will be a table available until noon on each day for ticket pick-up and payment.
Room Reservations
Delegates will be responsible for making their own arrangements for housing. See housing info. below.
There will be a limited number of RV/trailer parking spaces available on site. As long as the RV/trailer is self-contained, there are no restrictions for parking in the parking lot overnight. To reserve a parking space for your RV or trailer, please call the Hemet Church at 951-927-8717.
