Southern California District Assembly and NMI Convention

General Information
District Assembly and NMI Convention this year will be held at Hemet Church of the Nazarene, 42655 East Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA.
The NMI Convention will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3rd and conclude at approximately 3:30 p.m.
District Assembly will open on Wednesday, June 3rd at 7:00 p.m. Business sessions will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The District Assembly will conclude on Thursday with a Celebration of Ministry and Ordination Service at 7:00 p.m. Pastors’ Reports will be given in zone gatherings late morning on Thursday.
Childcare
Childcare will be provided for children through age 4 during the business sessions on Wednesday and Thursday and also during the evening services.
A separate form is enclosed to reserve space for childcare. Please indicate how many children will need childcare from your church, and return it to Hemet Church of the Nazarene, 42655 East Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA 92544, attention Lindsay Jorgensen, by May 25th. Meals
There are a number of restaurants to choose from in Hemet. A list of nearby restaurants will be provided at assembly. Arrangements are being made to have some restaurant vendors on site to provide catering for those who do not wish to go off campus for lunch on Wednesday and Thursday.
Room Reservations
A suggested list of motels is included in this mailing. Delegates will be responsible for making their own arrangements for housing. There are other options available that can be researched online.
There will be a limited number of RV/trailer parking spaces available on site. As long as the RV/trailer is self-contained, there are no restrictions for parking in the parking lot overnight. To reserve a parking space for your RV or trailer, please call the Hemet Church at 951-927-8717.
